Mobile Cross Platform Data Strategies

The Topic:

Explore using the Xamarin platform to access and store data on any mobile device. Discover storing and retrieving data with an on-device relational database using SQLite. Enhance performance (and user experience) with caching. Finally, because sharing is good (and because users never stay within wi-fi or cellular reach), tackle how to synchronize data back to the mothership that was entered while offline. Along the way we'll look at 3rd party libraries that make each task much easier to implement.

Matthew Soucoup develops apps out of Madison, WI. He has worked with C# since 2005, started creating cross platform mobile apps with Xamarin in 2012 and is a Xamarin Certified Developer.
