Monthly Meeting #10: Inside the Mind of a Serial Entrepreneur

Details
On March 6th we will have an opportunity to go inside the mind of a serial entrepreneur’s and see how he launched his most recent startup. I was fortunate enough to meet Scott Barnett a little over a year ago and can honestly say that his entrepreneurial knowledge is one of the highest I've encountered.
Scott started as a developer at Bell Labs. However, unlike many other programmers he found that he liked dealing with clients and doing business development so he went into sales. Over the years he has founded 4 startups and been an early employee (3-20 people) with 5 others. Scott has also successfully raised venture capital and has had successful exits.
Some of the areas that Scott will cover include:
• Testing your ideas pre MVP (Minimal Viable Product) as well as building one
• Identifying, finding and working with advisers
• How Scott uses Lean Startup & the Business Canvas
• Selecting your developers and TEAM
• Establishing Product/Market fit
• Corporate culture and Work/Life Balance
Scott will share his actual actions and the thought behind them for his current startup Bizyhood - which is firmly in the MVP phase today and looking to move into Product/Market fit later this year. The presentation will be broken down into sections. At the end of each part there will be a Q&A session.
Our hope with this meeting is to help our members see how a serial entrepreneur addresses the issues that many of us will be facing. Come energized and ready to learn.
Give before you get,
