Music for the web: Tone.js

The Web Audio API has brought the ability to create sophisticated audio for the web. It is a fairly low-level and complex API, though. Tone.js provides an abstracted API on top of Web Audio that gives a developer the ability to create synthesized audio based on standard modular blocks that will be familiar to anyone who has used a modular synthesizer or DAW. This presentation will give developers an overview of Web Audio and Tone.js, show some of the things you can do with Tone.js, and talk about live-programming possibilities using JavaScript.
