SoJo Spa in NJ with Black Philadelphia!
SoJo Spa Club, 660 River Road, Edgewater, NJ, USShhh, it's a hookie day. Join the crew as we enjoy a beautiful day to relax - relate - release! Just bring a swimsuit, toiletries, and your good vibes.
We are talking about heated pools, unique saunas, therapy rooms, relaxation spaces, and (if you must) a co-working space. You must be 18 years old to enter the spa.

3:00PM- GROUP PICTURE IN ROOFTOP POOL!!We are taking Amtrak trains to and from Newark, NJ ($46 RT as of 3/8) and then taking rideshare to and from the spa. If you'd like to ride the train with us, note that ticket prices will increase the closer we get to the date.
There are also a few people driving to the spa. Know that it's 2 hours away and could be longer with evening rush hour traffic. Post in the comments if you would like to request or offer a ride.
AMTRAK DETAILS:
*go to https://www.amtrak.com/tickets-reservations
- choose roundtrip trains from Philly (PHL) to Newark, NJ Penn Station (NWK and not the airport) on May 13th
*select train 642 departing PHL at 8:04am
*select train 653 departing NWK at 5:27pm
*pay for it with a debit/credit card
Taking a rideshare to the spa, which should take about 40 minutes.
NOTE: If you're taking Amtrak, buy your tickets sooner rather than later. They'll only get more expensive as the date approaches. Go to amtrak.com now if you want that cheap price!
FEEL FREE TO SIMPLY DRIVE TO THE SPA. IT'S YOUR CHOICE!
If you plan to drive to SoJo Spa, just know there's a parking lot half a block away or you can valet for $15.

*Optional spa services and food purchases are an additional cost. You can make your massage or body scrub reservation here
***Train currently costs 40 roundtrip from Philly, so purchase your ticket on Amtrak here.
Your daily admission spa pass includes access to:
*Outdoor Pools & Baths
- Saunas & Hot Stone Beds
*Locker Room & Bath House - Indoor & Outdoor Lounges
*Co-work Space
You will also receive:
- Complimentary robe or spa lounge wear for your visit
*Complimentary towels for your visit
- Locker Storage (no separate lock needed)
*Complimentary toiletries in the Bath House - Spa treatments, products, and food & beverage are an additional fee.

NEW DATE! Urban Foraging Stroll with Lady Danni & Black Philadelphia! ($)
Washington Avenue Green, Delaware River Trail, Philadelphia, Pe, USWe're doing some urban foraging with Lady Danni! She is a regional foraging legend featured in the NY Times and Phila. Inquirer, and she is going to share her wealth of knowledge regarding the edible and medicinal plants all around us! There is a $15 fee for this hike, as we want to pay Lady Danni for her expertise.
COST: $15 per person, due by April 20th
You must pay to join this foraging lesson, no exceptions.

A Fun Challenge
This is a great event to learn about the edible, drinkable, and medicinal plants that we walk by every day. "There's edible food looking right at you from the cracks in the pavement. You just need to know what to do with it." ~Lady Danni
Also suggested is a bottle of water. Bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat/scarf are also helpful but not usually necessary. Bring your EpiPen or inhaler too (better safe than sorry).
PARKING
Park in the shopping center near the Dunkin Donuts or on the street. DO NOT park in the Steam Fitters Credit Union parking lot.
