The JANUARY Main Line Writers Group meeting - Wednesday, January 15 - UNCLAIMED BAGGAGE publishing review.

Our group's first-ever collection, Unclaimed Baggage, is now available in both print and ebook formats. You can hold it in your hands (hopefully you bought it and actually can hold it in your hands). But that was ONLY PART of what this project was about.

We wanted our group to learn the many steps associated with the process of self-publishing. We want to understand what we could have done better. And we want to turn it into a tool kit for group members who want to self-publish in the future.

Our January meeting will be a discussion of the project from conception to implementation. A panel of group members closely involved with the project will respond to prepared and spontaneous questions from the moderator and the group. The meeting itself will be a great "how to" review on a self-publishing project and the steps involved. Responses will become part of the tool kit. Come to learn, share your views, and help us determine our next publishing project.

Our meeting place is Michael's Restaurant Deli in King of Prussia, just north of The King of Prussia Mall on Rt 202. The address is 130 Town Center Road in King of Prussia, 610-265-3265. The meeting officially starts at 7:00 pm but many of us come early (around 6:00 pm) to eat and socialize a bit - but you can order your meal at any time during the meeting. We use a private room and the acoustics are great. You'll have no problem hearing our speakers or each other.

Just a reminder that you can order a scrumptious meal at Michael's off their extensive menu. We don't get charged for the great room, but Michaels does have the expectation that attendees will order a meal. It is a fair expectation and the meals are very reasonably priced.
