The July Main Line Writers Group meeting: Self publishing panel discussion
Note date change for this meeting only to FOURTH Wednesday of the month.
Join us for a special evening dedicated to the discussion of independent/self publishing and the things authors NEED to know and do to be successful. The evening will focus on three key areas:
- Being prepared to be self-published and the things YOU AS AN AUTHOR need to do in before and during the process
- Prepping your work. The many things you never thought you would have to focus on in the file you use for going to paper print and e-print.
- Promoting your book. The many many things you will want to do to ensure that everyone knows your book has been released and how you can influence its sale. This last topic covers things applicable to publisher-printed authors as well.
Our presenters are authors themselves or involved with authors who are self publishing and can share their first-hand experience on what separates successful from...less than successful.
Just a reminder that you can order a scrumptious meal at Michael's off their extensive menu. We don't get charged for the great room, but Michaels does have the expectation that attendees will order a meal. It is a fair expectation and the meals are very reasonably priced.
This meeting is being help on the FOURTH WEDNESDAY of the month and is a one-time change to our normal schedule. For future meetings, Mark your calendar for every third Wednesday of the month. Feel free to tell others and bring a friend or two.
As usual, any questions, please contact me, Gary Zenker, at[masked] or [masked]. We are all looking forward to seeing you there.
