Tuesday June 24, 2014 6:30 pm Professor Scott A. Ogburn, "Legends of Ancient Atlantis" lecture will be on "Legends and the Sacred Architecture of Ancient Atlantis".Professor Scott A. Ogburn's lecture will be composed of some history and legends on Atlantis such as Plato's dialogues on Atlantis in his books, Timaeus and Critias, plus some images of various artists' renditions of the sacred architecture and city of Atlantis found on the Internet, plus some examples of ancient existing sacred architecture such as the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx and the Osirian Temple at Abydos, and the Gateway of the Sun in Peru, including the ruins at Puma Punku, (and other ancient sacred architecture) which "may" have been built during Atlantean times. Also included in this lecture are excerpts of phone interviews from friends (who will remain anonymous) with "memories" and dreams of their incarnations in Atlantis. The use of crystals from Atlantis for both healing and energy purposes will also be discussed.
