Nice House + Best Fireworks in Chicagoland = A Happy Independence Day

Hello to all of you Chicagoans! I will be home for the weekend of the 4th of July, and have decided to host a meetup. I know its the 4th of July and everyone has plans, but if you'd rather spice it up this year, let's have the first big MeetUp so we can put faces to names. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Plenty of food and drinks for all.

My mom (who is training to be a chef, so that means yummy food!) has a beautiful house in Northfield, IL which is about 20 miles north of the city. We have a nice big backyard, perfect for summer drinks and frisbee. There is a jacuzzi if anyone should feel bold.

Perhaps a Beerbeque from 6-8:30. At sunset (9 or so) we are close to the best fireworks that Chicagoland has to offer. The Winnetka fireworks are on a golf course right on top of you. The crowd is quiet, you're laying on a big blanket and the music is timed to the colors and size of the fireworks. It gives you goosebumps and makes you feel patriotic. Very kid friendly too.

So I'll need at least 15 attendees before I decide to get my mom all excited about it. Is anyone available/interested?
