This is a group seeking to learn, emulate and build on the enviable strengths and practices of he strongest and most Financially, Economically and Commercially savvy communities (And let's not forget their strong sense of Family, Culture, Community and Cohesion). Formed out of a true spirit of Altruism,The aim is to benefit and support ethnic peoples and businesses to grow STRONGER, TOGETHER!! I hope to encourage other MeetUp Group Organisers and all and any MeetUp Group individual members to all subscribe to, join and actively use this group to help identify the BEST BME businesses - For us to then JOIN TOGETHER to support those businesses, events, companies, individuals, products and opportunities, through our patronage and custom. Special shopping evenings or events, exclusive member promotions and discounts, group visits and bookings, Pop-Ups, Link Ups, Flash Mobs - Whatever is offered or it takes to get our voices heard, presence felt and respect and acknowledgement given to the POWER that we hold as consumers....& for the vast amounts of wealth that we have in our pockets, to choose to spend with those businesses who respect and appreciate our business!! This site will aim to only celebrate and promote QUALITY minority, ethnic or businesses of colour. We will endeavour to check and qualify the validity of the claimed levels of quality and value, before sending it on out to our members and we WELCOME suggestions from members of opportunities or businesses worthy of support: be they big, small, start-up, established, conglomerate or multi-national - we aim to celebrate and BIG UP the Black Pound, the "Dusky Ducketts", "The Afro Dollar", 'Ethnic Earnings', 'BME Euros', 'People's Papers'..... or whatever colloquialism may be used to describe it or us as diverse and disparate people of colour and different communities.....with SPENDING POWER!! I Hope this will be an opportunity for us as ethnic peoples to show our unity, show that we can collaborate successfully and that we can put the good of our communities and our peoples before our own selfish or individual aims, needs or desires - let's get those "Greenbacks" and those "Queen's Heads" circulating and rotating, to build our BusinesseS and our Communities and make us all STRONGER TOGETHER!!

"Birds do it, Bees do It, even the Asians and the Jews do it....let's do it, let's all JOIN UP!" - IT'S TIME FOR US to once again become strong and powerful with a message of consciousness as we "AGITATE, AGITATE, ORGANISE!!"
This started as a group seeking to learn, emulate and build on the enviable strengths and practices of the strongest and most Financially, Economically and Commercially savvy communities (And let's not forget their strong sense of Family, Culture, Community and Cohesion).
Formed out of a true spirit of Altruism,The aim was to benefit and support ethnic peoples and businesses to grow STRONGER, TOGETHER!!
But then things changed.. or rather boiled to the surface!! #BLACKLIVESMATTER became a raging battlecry, as more and more of our people were violated, brutalised and MURDERED!!
The rhetoric and marches of almost 60 years still amounting to little, with Black people still forming the bottom of the pile in Social Justice, whilst providing immeasurable financial wealth to all other communities, who relentlessly raped, pillaged and misappropriated black culture and disregarded our people.
WE NEED TO HAVE AND BUILD OUR OWN. Create our own Black businesses and Infrastructure, support and spend with our own and RE-CIRCULATE Our Money within our communities.
Please JOIN US, SHARE and encourage everyone to join Our movement.
MOMM cares and will pull together and get Black People, Black Businesses and Black Communities to synergise their collective Consumer power and WHATEVER else it may take to get Our voices heard, Our presence felt and respect and acknowledgement given to the POWER that WE hold as consumers....& for the vast amounts of WEALTH and FINANCIAL MIGHT that we have in our pockets. Fiscal clout that we as Black People need to know control, by spending it amongst our own and retain within our communities, to build commerce and businesses that we control, that can employ our children and give them a sense of self, pride and worth and employment security into the future. Beyond this and in our spirit of inclusion, MOMM encourages members of the African Diaspora to choose to spend outside our community with those businesses who respect and appreciate US and our business!!
MOMM will aim to ELEVATE, celebrate and promote QUALITY minority, ethnic or businesses of colour. We will endeavour to enhance levels of quality and value amongst our members and create infrastructure that endures and lifts the whole experience of being and buying from Black Busineses. MOMM WELCOMES input and suggestion from members and actively encourages promotion of opportunities and businesses worthy of support: be they big, small, start-up, established, conglomerate or multi-national - we aim to celebrate and BIG UP the Black Pound, the "Dusky Ducketts", "The Afro Dollar", 'Ethnic Earnings', 'BME Euros', 'People's Papers'..... or whatever colloquialism may be used to describe it or us as diverse and disparate people of colour and different communities.....with SPENDING POWER!!
Enough is Enough!...Black people have been stepped on and the bottom of the pile too long. Though others may disrespect or fear our brilliance it is time for is to shine again. MOMM will be an opportunity for us as ethnic peoples to show our unity, show that we can collaborate successfully and that we can put the good of our communities and our peoples before our own selfish or individual aims, needs or desires - let's get those "Greenbacks" and those "Queen's Heads" circulating and rotating, to build our Businesses and our Communities and make us all STRONGER TOGETHER!! <br>
