The Kinect is a motion sensing input device originally created for the XBox gaming system, and has seen widespread use among hackers due to its powerful sensors.

With the launch of Microsoft's next generation console comes the acclaimed Version 2 Kinect, with even more capabilities. A Windows development kit will be released this summer.

Preview the Kinect with us, as we'll be demonstrating one of these new devices at the Makerbar. Learn about what it can do, and what the new library will provide to developers and hackers. Afterwards we'll have a hands-on session so you can explore what the Kinect can do.
