Rolling History Tour Of The Tankerhoosen Valley

The Rockville Community Alliance's second annual Rolling Tour of Our Town will focus on the mills and history of the Tankerhoosen River Valley.

The bus will leave the Vernon Historical Society parking lot at 10:45 a.m. and return by noon. (THIS WAS A LATE CHANGE OF LOCATION)

Local Historian BOB HURD will provide a running commentary on the origins and significance of the mills along the Tankerhoosen.

At noon, a slide show will be presented in the Talcott Mill Community Room. Light refreshments will be served.
