There are over 230 Meetup groups in the greater Nassau County area (including eastern Queens and western Suffolk). Half of these groups have 27 members or fewer. (Which, of course, means half are larger than this.) Over twenty new groups were formed in the month of September, and another 20 or more in October.

In addition to our monthly book club meetings - where we will be discussing the books that inspired the founders of Meetup.com - we are also developing several small working groups to focus on specific interests vis a vis our Meetup experience.
