As you know, this is not a “event” in the sense that there will not be talks, networking or beers.

This is a meeting exclusively for people that would like to volunteer helping MalagaMakers organisation. As you know MalagaMakers is an non-guvernamental, non-for-profit organisation.

This month there will be two other MalagaMakers events that are general for everyone, and they will be fun. More info at: http://www.malagamakers.com

After said that, we have had an internal debate, and we currently are not thinking in widening the activitivies, but deepening the awareness about MalagaMakers and getting more people interested in our activities. We already have four types of events: Ideations, Geekbeers, AFTER7 and Front-end makers, and doing more stuff would make us unfocused.

Hence, contrary to what I have said, we are not thinking in opening in new places or creating new types of events.

We are specifically looking for: + Branding / communication experts, to create a strong MalagaMakers brand + Press, we need help to compose and send our press releases + Designers and Audiovisual proffesionals, we need to create amazing communications materials to support our brand + Marketing, we need to reach to new people. For example, we are still weak in the university students sector. + Social Media Manager, we need someone to take charge of our social network presence.

Please, feel free to come to tomorrow Saturday 9th Dec meeting if you can help in any of this subjects.
