Welcome to Sacramento's only book club especially for Mama's and their most precious treasures (Chick-lit books, great food, fabulous company and of course, their lil munchkins!)

A book club for mamas who cannot always get childcare, who need other mamas and who need a reason for pleasure reading!

Chick lit type books (and maybe others if interested) that have themes mamas can relate to for conversation over great food and drinks while the kids play together.

Meetings held at family friendly locations (not McDonald’s), members' houses and other "hot spots" (like the park).

PLUS Opportunities for "just moms" time when we can all get childcare.

Great for soon-to-be mamas, new mamas, mamas of one or mamas of many. Even for those that want to someday be Mama's!

Mamas who need a break, a friend, someone to have a chat with about whatever needs chatting. A fun, friendly, warm and welcoming group that reads great easy-quick-read light-hearted books with wonderfully predictable endings! We have great conversations and relaxing play dates.

NOT ACADEMIC - this is a no-pressure book club - we will read books like:

Meetings are very casual and laid back and if you don't get a chance to read the book beforehand, it's no sweat – the main emphasis is on getting together and having an excuse to read mind numbing fiction.

This group is for busy mamas, bored mamas, mamas who work, mamas who need to get out of the house and any other mamas that need other mamas!

I started this group because I used to (have a life) read all kinds of great books – but now I am a mom and I don’t even read my emails anymore. Between working from home, being in grad school and taking care of a home, a husband and a baby, I have little time for me – so I created this group to meet others who are looking to carve out a little “me time” without having to stress for babysitters.

So join us to read lighthearted, fun books, eat fabulous food and meet other warm, welcoming, friendly moms like yourself who need a reason to have a little “me time”.
