CALLING ALL DOWNTOWN TORONTO MOMS AND DADS!

We’re a group of neighbourhood moms and dads who get-together regularly for playdates and outings for our infants, toddlers and preschoolers.  If you are a family with young children, we’d love to meet you! 

 We have great team of volunteer organizers and we aim to find activities that are low-cost and local!Some of our activities centre around our neighbourhood (Trinity-Bellwoods), but other outings take us across the city. Our events include neighbourhood walks, 'urban hikes' , home playdates , park dates and swimming. We like to eat, so you'll find that some of our events revolve around food. Mostly we just enjoy hanging out with each other - any excuse will do!

 One of my favourite things about being part of this group is bumping into people you know every time you leave the house.  Being an active member of the Mamas-and-Papas means you will be meeting other people who care about community and building relationships.   While our target area is Toronto's "Downtown West" including Queen West, King West, Little Italy and Liberty Village, our membership also includes parents from Harbourfront, the Annex, the Beach and High Park!  

What are the requirements? We ask that you:

1) Be an active member! Please look at the messages and polls and respond accordingly. Volunteer to host playdates. Join our team of Assistant Organizers. The more you put into the group, the more you will benefit from it!

2) Keep our group safe! We require that you post a photo of you in your profile. Also, members who do not attend on any sort of regular basis are subject for removal. The safety of our group is our primary concern.

3) Be respectful! Please honour your "Yes" RSVP - our volunteers need to know how many to expect! Please remember to rate the events and leave feedback - this helps us keep track of attendance and fix anything that needs fixing.
