Charity & non-profit analytics meetup: Email

Our focus this month will be on email communications / newsletters.

What are the stats that matter for your campaign and how do you use them to improve performance?

What do you do to segment your lists, test frequency, subject lines etc?  What is the best use of your time?

Are there useful benchmarks for comparing your campaigns to? How do you combine email analytics with other CRM data?

Digital Analytics for people who work in the non-profit & charity sectors.

How do we best gather, combine, evaluate and produce useful actions from data - web analytics, email platforms, social media, advertising, mobile apps, CRM systems..?

What data do you collect, with what tools, how do you interpret and use it, what problems have you got, what would you like to do?

This is an informal group with a practical focus on networking, sharing knowledge, evaluating tools and discussing ideas. It's very much NOT an 'analytics 101' seminar.

Gutted I didn't make the event. Had a question to ask which I'll put here.
Is it possible to compile the analytics of a number of websites and social media accounts in one place?
I ask as a charity may have a number of activities carried out with blogs, twitter accounts as well as websites. It would be useful to know when emailing and publishing newsletters which where getting the best responses etc.

Hi Gavin, yes it is, depending on what you're trying to do. The next meetup (date tbc) is on dashboarding so that's a good question for us to address there.
