November Meetup: Social Reporting & Community Stories

Our focus this month will be on the use of social media to help create and distribute community stories.

Gary Coppitch from People's Voice Media (http://peoplesvoicemedia.co.uk/) will join us to talk through some of their history and current initiatives.

If you are involved in creating stories around your community - whether it be tweeting, blogging, podcasting, videoing or a.n.other - please come along to share experience, stories and insights. We hope that the meetup will be a chance to share tips, but also discuss some of the issues faced by the sector.

This will also be our last Manchester Net Tuesday for 2012 - I'll try and remember to bring mince pies !
