Manchester Adventure Group dedicated to providing adventure activities at all levels Novice/Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced/Expert. The groups aim is to get together and participate in all kinds of adventure sports including Mountain biking, Climbing, mountaineering, camping, walking/hiking, skiing/snowboarding, canoeing, raft building, sailing, wakeboarding /waterskiing, and any other suggested sports!
obviously some sports and outdoor activities are easier (and cheaper) to arrange than others. Regular walking, climbing and moutainbiking evenings and weekends are organised to places close to the Manchester area. But we also arrange holidays and lessons for skiing & snowboarding, Kitesurfing, climbing & walking & hiking weekends.
Hopefully this group will give everyone access to adventure sports with someone at the same level of themselves. If you already take part in a sport of just fancy giving it a go then there’s every reason to join.
We want to appeal to everyone, and the intension is to group abilities together, the advantage to this is that people can take it easy and just have fun or become more competitive if they wish.
Along with activities, we will have regular socials for everyone to meet beforehand. Generally in the city or south Manchester (West Didsbury / Chorlton / Didsbury). We have lots of plans and ideas of how to make this group great, but at the moment we are really just a group of friends who enjoy all the sports we have listed - So please feel free to come along and have some fun!

Hello,
We are kicking off the winter season with a Ski/Snowboard night at Chill Factor.
Ski or Snowboard on the main slope with the option to stray into the Freestlye area if you want to have a go at the kickers boxes and rails.
To ski or snowboard on the main slope you must be able to;control your speed and direction, link your turns, stop and use the button lift unassisted. Read more
