Meet others in your local area to run with. Plan group runs and participate in various long and short distance running. Personally, I'm up to 6.5 miles and I'm always up to push myself harder. Discuss safety like new stretches, better form and proper shoes. This will be both a great way to make friends as well as motivation to get out there and enjoy the sun and beach. We may not be gearing up for a marathon any time soon but we are no amateurs either. We will there to help each other every step of the way.
