ME (Manitoulin Excellence) is a grass-roots community group on Manitoulin Island, Ontario Canada which is dedicated to promoting excellence and its recognition throughout all individuals, groups, and organizations on Manitoulin Island.
We wish to support and work co-operatively with similar minded groups in this region and around the world.
As Dr. Viktor Frankyl said, everybody needs a purpose, a reason to exist, grow, and strive towards.
Excellence is tough to achieve, but is well worth the effort. Excellence means fulfilled lives and prosperity. Excellence means minimizing the risks to individuals, and the environment. Excellence is sustainable (ie. unending growth, for the sake of growth, is addictive, is mathematically impossible, and unsustainable). Excellence is an essential element of individual freedom and co-operation between individuals for the greater good of all. Excellence means good governance (ie as Abraham Lincoln said, "... government of the people, by the people, for the people.") which limits itself to the common good, not the good of special interest groups.
Are you intrigued?
Take the time and effort to find out more, to investigate, to ask tough questions.
If the ideas of ME (Manitoulin Excellence) are coherent and worthy, then they can withstand, and are strengthened by tough questions. By asking tough questions, to further refine and strengthen the ideas and ideals of ME and its supporters, you help all of us to attract others to our cause.
Perhaps there are those with doubts, who fear that ME and its ideas are a farce, a sham, unfeasible, or a manipulation. If their fears are true, then the crowd and their tough questions will soon expose the trickery. This revelation will soon sweep away the errors and worthless ideas, thereby making room for the better, the right, and the excellent ideas and actions.
Therefore I encourage, and look forward to your tough questions. By asking these tough questions, you help us build our excellence.
