Intro to QGIS

This month we'll be learning how to use QGIS, an open source GIS software. In order to make the meetup roll smoother, please have QGIS installed on your laptop before you arrive! Instructions can be found here:

1. Head to the official QGIS homepage (http://qgis.com/) and follow the directions for your respective operating system.

2. Grab an installer from Boundless (http://boundlessgeo.com/solutions/solutions-software/qgis/qgis-download/). Note that registration is required for this option but they e-mail the install right to you!
