Let's Protest with a Purpose - A Positive One!

This message was already sent to those that RSVP'd Yes or Maybe to the Michael Vick Protest event but it was decided afterwards to send it to everyone so that all would know this group's intention as a participant at the Protest. Apologies for the double emails to those that have already received this.

Let's turn today's protest against Michael Vick's Courage Award into a positive outcome for animals. How? By asking Michael Vick to PROVE to Baltimore that he deserves this award. Afterall, it's already decided that he will receive the award---we can't change that---but we can ask Vick to PROVE his courage and concern for animals by putting both his MONEY and his MOUTH in Baltimore...

Imagine we were able to convince Michael Vick to make Baltimore's dogs and kids a top-priority. What if he were here on a regular basis, talking to kids about dog fighting and funding an agility training school for inner-city dogs and kids. What if Baltimore could become a model city for inner-city agility contests that would help forge a new, positive relationship between kids and dogs?

I'll be bringing signs that say "Vick, PROVE your courage to Baltimore..." and "Vick, FUND animal protection for Baltimore" to make our message known.

This is achieveable, folks! Our protest can bring a positive message to Baltimore and much-needed funding combat dog fighting. Good for dogs, good for kids, good for Baltimore!
