It is a pleasure to invite you to this eat and hike meetup:-

a) Meet at 11 30 at Green Fresh vegan restaurant in Tsuen Wan. To keep things simple for this meetup with additional activities for the organiser to manage, the food is self order / self pay. For those who haven't been to Green Fresh before it is a relaxed and reasonably inexpensive sort of eatery. See facebook page below.

Nearest Rail / MTR - 1) Tsuen Wan exit D, or 2) Tsuen Wan West exit D. Tsuen Wan is slightly closer than Tsuen Wan West.

b) 12 30 leave Green fresh to take 82 Mini bus from Tsuen Wan to Shing Mun Road in Shing Mun Country Park. While this web page below is in Chinese the key piece of info for all is the 82 mini bus route map.

c) Arrive Shing Mun Road approx 13 00 - 13 15

The proposed hike is an easy level hike circumnavigating the Upper Shing Mun Reservoir. While this web page below is in Chinese the key piece of info for all is the route map of the hike:-

This is considered an easy level hike (suitable for children as young as 10). The hike could be done in as little as 3 hours. Our leisurely pace taking a rest or two will likely take longer.

The hike finishes back at the 82 mini bus stop on Shing Mun Road.

A weather check will be made at 10 30 am on Monday. Attendees are requested to check meetup.com then for event confirmation or at the prospect of heavy rain / storms, cancellation.

Spaces on this event are limited with a wait list in operation. We politely request editing RSVP to 'No' asap by anyone unable to attend who previously RSVPs 'Yes' to this event.

To help focus on RSVP status, anyone who 'no shows' against a 'Yes' RSVP will regrettably be banned for 1 month from the group.
