The Newspaper Club will be presenting his projects and more specifically : collaboration with The Guardian to make a data-connected newspaper : The Long Good Read (http://thelonggoodread.com/).

Tom is a founder and Head of Engineering at Newspaper Club, which helps anyone make and print their own newspaper. He leads the development of Newspaper Club’s platform for digital publishers, helping them turn digital content into print as easily as publishing to the web.
Before that, he was a partner in Really Interesting Group, a multi-disciplinary design agency, and a freelancer for clients such as the BBC, Apple and the National Maritime Museum.

2nd Talk // Stijn Debrouwere (https://twitter.com/stdbrouw) - Freelancer & Media consultant.

Stijn works with The Guardian in London as a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews (http://opennews.org/) fellow.

He is a technologist trying to figure out how we can innovate our way out of the news industry’s crisis. In his work as a freelancer and media consultant, he thinks about how information gets created and stored, how it travels around, and how to meaningfully present all that information to users.

His work fits somewhere in between UX design, software architecture, taxonomy, and process management.

On a side note, come fully loaded with shinny business cards, as there will be a random pick to win one copy of Gary Vaynerchuck (https://twitter.com/garyvee)'s brand new book, Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook (http://jabjabjabrighthook.com/).

He was in London yesterday for VaynerWorld (http://vaynerworld.com/) (so proud to have our logo at the bottom of this page <3), and he got us totally pumped.

See you tonight!
