It says a lot when any elected official comes to meetings like ours.

Tom responded quickly when we asked about the drone.  I thought it was an excellent idea for him to bring it to the meeting.

I am a good friend an d support of Sheriff Tom Miller. I assure you he is working long hours  going in several different directions. He is looking to take this county to a new level with the resources he has available. He has spent time developing and improving past and recent relationships to better serve our county. Sheriff Miller is very accessible and is a terrific listener.
I hope you'll do two things at Saturday's meeting. One is getting the Sheriff to answer your question and two is, offering your energy and passion to the Sheriff's volunteer organization that is growing. He needs committed folks like you and Sharon. You are the heart of the county!
See you Saturday.

All I ever hear is that Tom Miller is pro 2nd amendment and on our side, but I never hear him say it, and I don't see his name on this list. And now we have drone training in Medina. Can anybody get him off his butt and make some kind of a statement outside of a 9-12 meeting, please.

Local sheriffs refuse to enforce Obama gun control proposalFor Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey, it's a no-brainer.If the United States Congress passes new gun control laws, including a ban on assault weapons for law abiding residents, he won't enforce it.
"Let me make it crystal clear, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office will not be confiscating firearms from law abiding citizens," Grey said.
