MelbDjango 0.5 - September 2013

We're going to try a bit of a different format and see how the night goes with one fewer speaker, to allow more time for discussion and questions. We've got a few other items to discuss, such as our next hack night on the 27th September  and the upcoming lightning talks edition of MelbDjango in October.

- Melb Pythonista Danni Madeley will talk about why behaviour driven testing is amazing, why you should use it too and how to get started with Django and Lettuce.

Twitter: @dannipenguin

- Colin Rolfe will take us through some essential tips for securing Django environments.

As always, drinks and space is provided thanks to Common Code (  Please follow us on Twitter (@MelbDjango) and we look forward to another great night.

Nice one Danni, Colin and Brenton. Checking out your slides now Col. Any chance you could post a link to yours Danni? Your talk was great. Thanks for organising as well Daryl, Colin and Brenton - just like to give you a pat on the back for the organisation effort...there is always beer, which is basically the only metric of organising that counts.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
