Eastern Suburban Brewery Cafe Tour Series; Part 2 Knox Trails - 51 kms

Details

There are a surprising number of brewery cafes tucked away in suburban areas, often close to our shared paths. This is one of a series of tours to visit a selection of these establishments to sample their wares, and have a jolly good get-together with friends over an ale and some nice food.

This is an INTERMEDIATE grade ride.

The tour will commence from Ringwood railway station at 9am on Saturday. We will ride through the Ringwood Lake Reserve to the Mullum Trail, then follow it through to Croydon for a coffee stop. From here we take back-streets to Mooroolbark then across via the Carrum to Warburton Trail to Kilsyth and Taralla Creek Trail to Bayswater. We will do lunch (either in the park, or at a cafe if the weather is inclement) then visit the Hard Road Brewing. This may be followed shortly after with a visit to the The Little Brew cafe in Ferntree Gully, right near the Blind Creek Trail. Later we will ride on to Scoresby taking the Blind Creek and Eastlink Trails to visit Beach Hut Cafe. From here we will follow the Dandenong Creek Trail and work our way up through back-streets to Glen Waverley.

*Ride responsibly, take the train if the hills get too much
