There has been talk about this workshop since the previous one was run in 2013. We have just scheduled the workshop to run as part of Compose :: Melbourne!

A workshop intended for newcomers to the language.
Used to attract new members to the meetup and the FP community in general. If you are already a member then you will probably be more advanced than the material is targeted for. That being said, if you wish to attend, and numbers permit it, then you are by all means welcome.
The workshop will be running on Day-2 of Compose:: Melbourne.

Note, that while we recommend that you attend Compose :: Melbourne if you are interested in exploring functional-programming, the introductory Haskell workshop is FREE, and does not require a ticket to Compose. You should, however, complete the free eventbrite registration for the workshop so that we can track anticipated attendance.
