Without coordinated KM processes, an organisation as a whole, but more importantly, the individuals within the organisation will never be able to learn.
Good knowledge mangement practice is the capture, maintenance and sharing of intellectual assets. But it is a lot more complex than this processes, it is a feeling/pscyhology that correlates to motivation. A feeling to want to share intellectual captial, that same feeling that gets people out of bed to go to work. Good KM practice is to facilitate an environment to encourage engagement and collaboration.
I don't have one...mhm, maybe I should
Two years after being inspired by a very passionate lecturer on KM, I have finally persuaded my organization to consider a KM strategy. I am novice to KM in a professional sense and look forward to learning from you all and sharing my stories.
