Wearable Electronics and eTextiles with the Lilypad Arduino

Add lights and electronics to garments and accessories with the Lilypad Arduino!  This is a special version of the popular electronic controller specially designed to be washable. This workshop will give you hands-on experience with using the Lilypad Arduino. The goal is for each participant to leave with an item of their own creation. Materials will be provided for a headband or small purse; if you have a specific project in mind please contact the event organizer, we're more than happy to discuss it with you!

Materials: Please bring a laptop computer. If you don't already have a Lilypad Arduino, a limited number of Lilypad Protosnap Development Boards will be available on-site so you can take your project home with you ($25). For advanced participants, other types of Lilypads may be available, please contact the organizer.

Notes: This workshop can be taken after the morning Intro To Arduino workshop for additional practice!

I want the tiny one that flashes to like up my bow on my monster Christmas ornament. Also would like to make a twinkle skirt.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
