Chris Bright

Chris Bright is the Transport Planning Manager of Metropolitan Planning Authority (http://www.mpa.vic.gov.au/), supporting new and innovative infrastructure and services planning that helps to deliver strong and integrated communities across Victoria.

Chris works across diverse and interesting infrastructure projects including transport planning, traffic management, walking, cycling, public transport, freight and road safety. He previously worked with Victoria's Department of Transport as the Manager of the SmartBus Program working on the roll-out of eight SmartBus routes across Melbourne including the the 'Doncaster Area Rapid Transit' (DART) and the implementation of new infrastructure including bus stop upgrades and Bus Tracking System across the metropolitan bus fleet.

Chris has been involved with infrastructure/transport projects for over 15 years and works closely with the transport industry, government and local councils, as well as technical and construction industries as part of his role.
