Art Mentor Program in Santa Monica. Work alongside representational artist Michael Newberry and get the tools you need which will help you move your art forward.
* Bring in projects that you have been working on or would like to start
* Learn about strengthening your compositions
* Find out about spatial color theory, which helps move the colors through space
* Get helpful answers to problems the block your art
* See first hand the materials and methods that Michael uses
* Queries are encouraged
Excellent for artists working in pastel, charcoal, pencil, acrylic, and oil paints.
You need to bring your art materials, easel, visual references (studies, photos, props), drop cloth. There are plenty of chairs in the gallery.
Tuesday Evenings from 6 to 10 pm, parking on Colorado and in the building's parking lot.
Spots are limited.
