Meet Facebook M and Start the Dialogue with Bots

Hi All!

We are super excited to announce our second meetup on June 1st.

This time, we will be focussing on dialogues and machine learning.

Our key speakers are:

1. Alex Lebrun, Facebook M's teacher, Founder of wit.ai
   Alex founded Wit.ai (acquired by Facebook)- an AI platform that makes it easy for developers to build a Siri-like conversational interface for their app or device. This platform is currently being used by >20,000 developers.

2. Dr. Milica Gašić, Lecturer at Cambridge University Engineering Department and Fellow at Murray Edwards College
   Milica's research interests lie in various aspects of spoken dialogue systems and in particular decision-making. The startup that came out of her group, called VocalIQ, was recently bought by Apple.

Lightening talks:

1. Sure : A messenger chat bot for finding and buying sustainable products and services. The team from Sure will be launching the bot in London at our meetup!

2. Pilot.co : A slack bot that helps you hire first-class engineering and design talent right from Slack.
