Meteor 101

Hi there!

I'm happy to announce the first Meteor meetup in Amsterdam. My name is Rahul and I'm the "captain" in Amsterdam and The Hague, where I organised a few Meteor meetups last year. I work at Q42, where we've been experimenting with Meteor now for nearly two years and are starting to do client work with Meteor. We also have an office in Amsterdam, and I'd love to invite you to join me there to learn and chat about Meteor.

For this first meetup I'm going to assume most of you have little to no experience with Meteor, so I'd be happy to give a short demo (repo: https://github.com/primigenus/meteor-demo ) of Meteor's capabilities and an overview of why Meteor is awesome.

If you've already had a chance to play around with Meteor or perhaps even build something in production, it would be great if you'd share it with the group. Let me know if you're interested in doing that and I'll add you to the schedule.

We'll arrange for drinks and some form of dinner. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, so hope to see you there!
