## Free Meteor Hosting with Heroku and MLAB

With all the hype about Galaxy, meteor's free hosting quietly went away. While it's great to have galaxy, it is a little expensive for quickly putting up an open source demo of your latest package, or testing out that idea with a hosted environment.

## In-place CMS for static websites - a package building journey

I recently completed a single-page static website for a local business, but wanted to take it to the next level and introduce i18n translation as well as simple content management functionality for the client. Instead of switching to WordPress, I decided to roll my own with Meteor. This is a show and tell talk of that journey.
