Curtis Larson & Adrian Lanning — Secure, Scalable Uploading to S3 with Slingshot
Slingshot (https://github.com/CulturalMe/meteor-slingshot) is a great package that helps Meteor clients upload directly to S3 without having to send the data through your Meteor server. In this talk we'll walk you through everything you need to set it up, including the somewhat arcane AWS config you'll need to get it working in a production environment.
Curtis Larson is a NYC-based freelance full stack developer with extensive experience in MeteorJS. He's available for hire at www.curtismlarson.com (http://www.curtismlarson.com/). You can read more about this topic and other Meteor-related adventures at his blog (http://www.curtismlarson.com/blog/).
Adrian Lanning is co-founder of Share911 (https://share911.com/), maintains the Roles (https://atmospherejs.com/alanning/roles) authorization package and helps run the Meteor-NY meetup.
Alain Goldman – Getting Past Go: Tips & Tricks for the Meteor Beginners after the Todo App
Meteor is a terrific platform for building simple applications quickly without much experience. However, after the tutorials, some users stumble trying to build their own applications, often confused by how things work. Alain Goldman, an organizer of the Beginner Programmers meetup, discusses some of these challenges and suggests how to overcome them.
Alain Goldman is a Rails instructor for beginnerprogrammers.nyc (http://beginnerprogrammers.nyc/), a Meteor enthusiast, and an organizer for the Beginner Programmers meetup that helps novices learn more about programming languages used in software development careers.

Gregory Schwedock – Automatic Server-Side Astronomer Analytics with SpaceMonkey

Gregory Schwedock is CTO and Cofounder of iChampSports, and activist at The Climate Mobilization. You can follow him on Twitter or find him at Github with handle @shwaydogg, or email him at greg@ichampsports.com .
Anders Ramsay – Deploying a Meteor App to Galaxy
"With the free hosting option going away for Meteor, you'll need to find other deployment options for your Meteor apps. Here, we'll walk through a step-by-step process for deploying a Meteor app to the Galaxy platform. We'll discuss common pitfalls and questions, and discuss Meteor app deployment in general."
