Meteor Devshop 7

Friends, Makers, Meteorites!

Come co-work with other Meteorites during the day at Meteor Devshop, or socialize with Meteorites and give/see Lightning Talks in the evening. Or both. Either way, we'd love to see you!

*Doors open at 2PM.*

We're focusing this devshop on helping people build apps and packages.  Some knowledgable Meteorites will be here to help, and there is an opportunity to show off what you built later in the evening with a Lightning Talk. (Drop Jade a line or comment here if you're interested in taking a shift to answer questions for fellow Meteorites.)

There will be plenty of snacks, caffeine, and fellow Meteorites, so please bring your laptops and ideas.

Meteor Devshop 7: Night

Transit Information

There is ample street parking at this end of SOMA, but we're also pretty close to Civic Center BART station, and the Bus lines 47 and 83X take you straight here from the Caltrain stop at 4th and King.  There is also a parking garage on Mission between 7th and 8th that operates until midnight.

This is a very good package to work on with. There are lots of updated features that have been made available by the devshop for the users to develop apps and services, Good read is given here.

Great meetup, first one and glad I came. Next time, I hope to give a lightning talk introducing Hamlet ( ) which is an alternative HTML templating language that retains the concision and benefits of Haml and Jade while looking more like traditional HTML. Basically, angle brackets + indenting.

It was great, I have gone to many dev shops but I started to reconsider my attendance due to the lack of real tech talks. Most of last talks were more about this is my startup , we do this and by the way we are recruiting. Todays talk from Avital was short but really helpful, adding value to the community. Thanks!!

Great talk on live data, got some great ideas on speeding up some apps that rely on sharing data between users as fast as possible.
