Hey everyone,

Mozilla has offered to host our next meetup! I have to say wow, because I feel like Mozilla and Meteor have a big overlapping mission in making an open source, easy to use, accessible technology platform available to as many people as possible. So it's awesome that we can hang out there.

Last month at Meteor Devshop I gave a short lightning talk about Meteor's mission statement, which I think is great because it talks about how programming is too hard, and there's a need for a platform to simplify it. So I figured, since we're meeting up at Mozilla this time, we should focus on this: how is Meteor making programming simpler for you? What elements of the Meteor platform are you curious to learn more about, and how can we explain or demo those in a way that make them easy to understand? This is an opportunity for all of us to contribute - not just me ;-)

Also, if you'd like to share what you're working on or give a short talk, please send me a note and we'll set something up.

See you there!

UPDATE: Sashko, Meteor core dev, will give a ~20 min talk about how Meteor is designed to be easy to use by touching on some of the subprojects like Tracker, Blaze, and more :)
