It's been awhile since our last meetup, and since then, a lot has changed.
Meteor has grown so much and our local community is now full with popular package developers, enterprise companies and even 2 Israeli Meteor team members!
So it's time to create a proper home for Meteor developers in Israel!
This meetup will kickstart a recurring meetings (every 1-2 months).
We are going to present a lot of the work that is done by our community and show a glimpse of our next meetups.
The main lecture will be an in-depth lecture about the Meteor platform and it's components for advanced developers who are not yet familiar with Meteor and are not satisfied with the shorter intro talks. so if you always heard about Meteor but was too afraid to try, that's for you. Members of the meetup, bring your friends so they will understand what are you so excited about.
Then in our lightning talks we will show as many things our community is doing as possible - packages, applications and tutorials. you can still signup and present your talk/package/app/yourself: http://meteor-tlv-lightning-talks.meteor.com/
Your favorite subjects will become the next meetup's main lectures.
As videos for meetups is Israel usually take too long to upload, we will experiment with livestreaming the event. Also we will try to get a quality video team that will take less than 2 months to release the videos :)
