Guys,
as summer heat is building upon us, we're finally back with even more Meteor heat!
This time we're hosting a true sea wolf of Meteor waterworld - Mitar Milutinovic of PeerLibrary (http://peerlibrary.org).
Mitar and his team at Berkeley University are using Meteor from it's early days to build a open-sourced web application for collaborative reading of scientific papers.
You may have heard of it or even seen Mitar's ligning talks (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=peerlibrary), but now you'll have a chance to meet the guy in person :)
Here's what Mitar will talk about:
• the PeerLibrary (http://peerlibrary.org) project
• PeerDB (https://github.com/peerlibrary/meteor-peerdb) & meteor-related (https://github.com/peerlibrary/meteor-related) - how to do relations between collections
• interactive search (https://github.com/peerlibrary/peerlibrary/blob/development/server/search.coffee) & how permissions can work on top of that
Of course, he'll also answer your questions.
So, those of you not frying yourself down on the beaches, come over in our air-conditioned coworking space and join us!
