Formerly known as The Alexandria Movie Fans Meetup Group.
I changed the name and location info to better reflect the membership and goals of the group. We will still be having our great events in Alexandria, but I hope to expand the group geographically into DC, Maryland, as well as further into Virginia. This will give everyone many more movie going options and more chances to to meet new people. I also would like to start hosting more themed events, such as Indie Movie Nights and Classic Movie Nights. I have had alot of success with our Books on Screen Series in partnership with the great group the BookMeet&Eat. I hope to continue this series and am always open to suggestions on new events.
