You're not a superficial, money-driven, status-seeking, fitness-freak workaholic. You don't ascribe to any one activity or ideology with single-minded purpose. Your kind of beauty doesn't sell toothpaste or jeans. You wake up some mornings wondering how you ever came to live or work in the DC Metro area.

If this group has a theme, it is lack of judgmentalism. If it has a purpose, it is gathering for the pure sake of human interaction, communication and fun. There are no age, race, creed, orientation, lifestyle, size or status limits or goals. Acceptance is the only motto.

Activities will start out with the basics. A meal and conversation. A pub night or a milkshake night. A movie. As people join, if certain collective interests assert themselves, we'll add them to the calendar. For now, this is just the little island of misfit Metro-ites.
