Hello and welcome to the Metrowest Writer's Circle, a writer's group based in Framingham, Massachusetts and dedicated to supporting aspiring writers through revision sessions. All forms of writing are welcome.

I started this group due to the lack of writing groups in the Framingham & Metrowest area. I seek to have a small but dedicated group of writers interested in participating in disciplined critique sessions. If this sounds like you, we'd love to have you joins us.

Currently, we meet on the second Saturday of every month, usually at Framingham Public Library. Each critique session generally about two hours and one to two works are critiqued.

In case you are wondering why this group is private,  we do this to protect the rights of the writers who upload their work to the website. If we did not, a work could be considered electronically published and therefore markets that do not accept previously published material would not look at your work.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE REQUESTING TO JOIN

• MWC runs on a critique-for-participation credit-based system. This means you must first earn credits by critiquing the work of others before being eligible to receive critique.
• MWC runs a biannual audit of its membership. Members who have not participated in the group for six months will be removed from the membership unless they request to remain in the group. 

HOW TO JOIN:

1) Send an approximately 13 line writing sample to osiris_public@verizon.net with 'Writing Sample' as the subject header.  You may also use the 'Contact Us' button to send your sample.

2) Click the 'Join us' button on the top right of the screen and fill out the membership form.

If you have requested membership and have not heard from us, make sure you have performed Step 1. If you have performed both steps and still have not heard from us, feel free to send an inquiry via the 'contact-us' button.
