This talk presents an overview of an architecture to integrate stream processing of Storm with Hadoop that is much simpler, faster and better integrated than you might expect . The talk will include a live and lively demonstration of realtime Twitter tag clouds and will provide architectural details.
Bio:
Brad Anderson has been wrangling data for 20 years, more recently building and using non-relational data stores. He works as a solution architect for MapR Technologies, assisting clients in their use of MapR’s technology-leading Hadoop distribution.
