Sake tasting in Coconut Grove - TONIGHT
Friday, September 11, 2009 12:26 PM
Hello everyone. I just found out that Barry Alberts will be hosting a Sake tasting at the Mayfair hotel TONIGHT.
I apologize for the short notice, but this event is too good to miss for those who like Sake.
Although this is not an official meetup, I will be there, along with a few friends. Please feel free to join us.
Here's the posting that I found on localwineevents:
Tonight we hold a unique and unusual tasting of Sake. These are not the Sake's that you most likely have had to quaff at your favorite sushi restaurant. These are indeed, the very finest Sakes that Japan produces! These are very small production very high end sakes (these would be the First Growths or Grande Crus of Sake). Read about them here at Vine Connections ? Japanese Sake . We will be hosted by sake specialist Morgan Hartman, who will educate and lead us through this incredible set of nine sakes. This will be a very fun and educational event. And a great opportunity to stock up on some truly delicious sakes!
We will taste
Nambu Bijin-Southern Beauty,
Fukucho-Moon on the Water,
Mantensei-Star Filled Sky,
Kanbara-Bride of the Fox,
Ginga Shizuku-Divine Droplets,
We will also include a selection of complementary horsd'oeuvres. Remember that for your friends that may not care for sake, that we always have a full bar available.
* For all tasting attendee's we will raffle a set of two tickets (value[masked]) to the upcoming Miami International Wine Fair on 9/27/2009
