Los Reyes Magos Parade - Little Havana Cultural Event

Little Havana is one of the most colorful districts of Downtown Miami. The yearly Reyes Magos Parade which winds along Calle Ocho, Little Havana’s main artery, is a fun and colorful event that you do not want to miss.

The Three Wise Men, Melchior, Baltasar and Caspar who followed the star to Bethlehem traditionally arrive on 6th of January, but Miami celebrates the event on the Sunday following the 6th.

This year the Miami Heat’s own Three Kings — LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh — will be parade Grand Marshals

Although there is of course the religious background, Little Havana’s Reyes Magos only play a marginal role. It’s more carnival than wise men and more funny floats, live animals, marching bands, cheerleaders, displays of local businesses, TV and Radio stars and everything in between.

The 43rd Parada de los Reyes Magos will take place at noon on Jan. 20 in the heart of Little Havana, along Southwest Eighth Street, between Fourth and 17th avenues.

Meeting Time: Yes, the Parade starts at noon; but in order to find each other and (hopefully) get a good viewing location (plus parking, etc.) it is advisable to be there by 11:30am AT THE LATEST...
