Organizers Chris Lindsay and Tim Chilcote decided to start the group because we share an enthusiasm for Michigan, in particular its prolific literary talent, as well as its breweries and wineries. The Michigan Beer & Book Club is a group out of Ann Arbor that will meet on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss one or two books that are either written by Michigan authors, or feature Michigan in some way. We'll meet at a local watering hole that serves Michigan beer and wine. If you are a fan of great writing and/or tasty malt beverages, then this group is for you. And if you don't drink, don't let that stop you from joining us. We would be happy to have you.
