MichiganDogTrainer.com is organized by Michael Burkey of Michael Burkey's Canine Behavioral Training. It's purpose is to unite dogs and their human companions at fun outdoor events which may include gatherings at dog parks, nature hikes, cross country skiing, etc. Essentially, the events will be whatever you can imagine that is safe and fun to do with your dog.
The group is open to all dogs, large and small who are friendly toward other dogs and people. By joining, you agree that your dog is friendly toward dogs and people and that you are responsible for your dog's behavior before, during and after group meet up events. By joining, you understand and accept that there are inherent risks involved to your dog, your person and property in associating with other dogs. You hold Michael Burkey, Michael Burkey's Canine Behavioral Training, and it's agents harmless for any damage to your personal property or injury to yourself and others that you bring with you to meet up events. If you agree, please join us and have fun with other dog lovers!
Events will be held in SE Michigan, primarily in Western Wayne County, Southern Oakland County and Eastern Washtenaw County.
On leash dog walk on beautiful trails at Maybury State Park. Entrance fee to the park (unless you have an annual permit) is $6.00 for a day pass.
We will meet in the most eastern parking lot of the park. So after entering the park turn to the left and go all the way down to the end.
While the address for the park is Beck Road, entrance to the park is actually off of 8 mile road, west of Beck road.
