Always. My first camera was a hand me down, probably when I was 6 or 7 years old, an Ansco ReadyFlash B&W Camera, I think it was 2.25" negative size, square format. I still have it... I really got into photography more in high school with photography class and yearbook and bought my first first SLR (Yahsica FX-1?). It's rare I go anywhere without a camera.
I have a Canon 60d with the[masked]mm lens. I love it, but it's a bit hefty compared to my old Canon 350d (Digital Rebel XT), I WAS tempted to return it, but I think I've gotten used to the speed and other features and can't do without them... I also have a Canon SX260 for times when I'm not feeling like lugging around a big camera and I always have my iPhone 5s with me too.
I'd like to go to some different places around town. Some older buildings. I'd like to learn a little more about lighting too.
No question: The old train station in Detroit. For some reason I'm always pulled towards that building.
I like hiking. I'll occasionally camp, but not often. More into casual bicycling and roller blading. Do we do these things in this group?!?
I love taking pictures. I've almost always got a camera with me.
Great group! Can't wait for more adventures! Of all my (many many) meetup groups this group usually takes priority. Jack always has great locations and things to do picked out for us.
