Donald Wert
Cut his database teeth on R:Base 5000, an early SQL database management system that had only a command-line UI but managed to do some pretty cool stuff anyway. After that, it was Paradox, Informix Smartware database and, say it softly, Access. First learned SQL Server in 2000 and has been in love ever since. After escaping the banking industry he did second tier support before finally becoming a database developer, sometime DBA and BI analyst.
